Editor's Note
It was built in 1911 by the villagers themselves with their own means. In 1920, when the Greeks occupied the town, the school was used as a headquarters building. In 1937, it was also visited by Atatürk, who came to the region for the Thrace maneuvers. In 1998, after a new school was built next to it, it was vacated and fell out of use.
