The remains of a channel belonging to an old waterway are found in a wooded area about 3 km southwest of the center of Çakıllı. The water channel was built as a vault of rubble stone and lime mortar, 30 cm below the surface. The channel is roughly 80 cm wide and 120 cm high. Exposed by soil erosion, this water structure was damaged once treasure hunters noticed it. Its upper part is broken. According to the inventory report, it dates to the Roman period.
