Editor's Note
According to the photograph caption recorded in the Abdülhamid II Archive, it reads: "Photograph taken at the opening of the noble mosque newly built in the village of Bahçeağıl, attached to the Çorlu Imperial Estates Branch, in the name of Sultan Selim Han III, under the auspices of the benevolent grace of His Highness the Caliph. In the year 1320 and in the year 1318. (1902)." It was registered as a Cultural Property Requiring Protection (Group 1) by decision no. 6363 of the Edirne Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 23 October 2019.
