On a hilltop area 1,850 meters northeast of the center of Vize district lie cave formations bearing traces of an old settlement. Numerous pottery fragments lie around them. On top of the natural rock are linear piles of stone that resemble foundation traces. A pithos rim fragment was found on the site. Above the cave is a window-like recess, and at its end is a thin remnant of plaster. The area around the old settlement is riddled with illegal excavation pits. According to the inventory report, it dates to the Iron Age and Thracian periods.
