Editor's Note
Located on plot 9 of block 245 on Meydanlık Street in the Mehmet Akif neighborhood, the building has a rectangular plan, a ground floor plus one upper storey, and a hipped roof covered with Turkish-style tiles. Built of rubble stone and brick masonry with wooden tie beams, it shows deformation in its plaster and facade. The plot is separated from the street to its south by a rubble-stone wall. There are later additions on the southwest and north facades. The building is entered through a door on the central axis of the ground floor. There is one window to the right of the door and one on the east facade. The southwest facade of the first floor has a projecting bay.
