Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of the Mehmetakif neighborhood in the Vize district of Kırklareli province. A test excavation carried out by the Kırklareli Museum Directorate uncovered the remains of a wall built with brick and horasan mortar, surrounded by abundant ceramic fragments. It was registered as a First-Degree Archaeological Site by decision no. 3371 of the Edirne Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 21 January 2011. The remains are presumed to have been reburied underground.
