The square-plan, single-storey, single-minaret mosque is of the school-mosque type, built in the early 20th century to a standard design set by the Imperial Estates (Emlak-ı Hümayun). It was largely renovated in the 1945 repairs. It was registered as a Cultural Property Requiring Protection (Group 1) by decision no. 8321 of the Edirne Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 19 April 2022.
