In the cemetery area about 400 m east of the village of Akçaköy there are roughly 15 gravestones inscribed in Ottoman Turkish, including turban-topped, cap-topped, cylindrical, octagonal, floral-motif and plain types. The earliest legible gravestone is dated Hijri 1051, and as far as can be seen the area contains two turban-topped, one cap-topped, two cylindrical, one octagonal, two floral-motif and nine plain gravestones. The upper part of many of the gravestones has been broken off. The latest legible gravestone is dated Hijri 1306. The village cemetery spreads over a wide area.
