Editor's Note
This bridge lies over the Çorlu Stream within the Muradiye neighbourhood of the Muratlı district in Tekirdağ province. Roughly 65 m long and 6 m wide, it was built on four piers using a truss system and steel construction. Today asphalt-paved and open to vehicle traffic on Naim Sav Avenue, the bridge is thought to be one of the first iron bridges built in the Late Ottoman period, in the early 20th century. It was registered as a Cultural Property Requiring Protection (Group 2) by decision no. 7457 of the Edirne Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 22 March 2021.
