The Ovacık Cemetery lies to the north of Ovacık village, about 1 km from the village centre and roughly 700 m northeast of the Ovacık–Müsellim village road. Active burials continue in the cemetery; the old cemetery fabric can be traced in the south-central and northern parts of the old cemetery area; some of the gravestones are broken and some buried in the ground; and uninscribed dark fieldstone markers are also present. Eleven gravestones were recorded in the Ovacık Village Cemetery, including a man's headstone dated AH 1177 whose finial has been damaged.
