Editor's Note
It stands to the north of the Lüleburgaz Station grounds, on İstasyon Caddesi, within the green area. The monument consists of three separate blocks set on a square base. The first, square-form pedestal joins the base plinth with a rounded surface. The inscription on the south face of the pedestal reads: "This monument was built in 1916 by the heroic Turkish troops returning from the Battle of Gallipoli. In 1921 its inscription and coat of arms were destroyed by the treacherous Greeks. In July 1969 it was restored once again by Major General Hilmi Arman, commander of the 63rd Division."
