In the old cemetery at the northern edge of Sarıcaali village, at the village exit, there are numerous gravestones bearing Ottoman Turkish inscriptions, in turban, fez and plain forms. The earliest legible gravestone is dated AH 1198, and as far as can be seen the site holds two turbaned, one fez-topped and three plain gravestones. The latest legible gravestone is dated AH 1321. The old cemetery spreads over a wide area. Some of the gravestones are intact, while others have been toppled, damaged or uprooted from their places.
