Located in the Hisar neighborhood of Hayrabolu district, Tekirdağ, the mosque was commissioned by Sultan Mehmed I (Çelebi) in 1419. The mosque has a rectangular plan running north-south. On its east facade is a portico of six arches carried by seven columns, and on its north facade one of eight arches carried by seven columns. The marble mihrab of the Çelebi Sultan Mehmet Mosque is original. Its roof was originally domed, but after the dome collapsed a hipped roof was built. Its minaret stands on the north side.
