Editor's Note
It lies within the Babaeski district of Kırklareli province. The Ottoman Archives of the Prime Ministry hold, dated 24 June 1903, an application for a house held by Santof Katim in the Varoş neighborhood of the town of Babaeski to be provided temporarily to the Jewish community, together with a later document concerning the conversion of Santoni Kanili's house into a place of worship.
