Editor's Note
It lies within the Babaeski district of Kırklareli province. Since documents concerning this building in Babaeski exist from 1893, it is thought to have been built in the 19th century. Left in ruins for a long time, the building was demolished on the grounds that it endangered public safety; its plot stood empty for a while before being sold to Garanti Bank, and the present six-storey building was constructed on it in 1993.
