The Atatürk Mask is a large concrete bust of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the Buca district of İzmir. Begun in 2006 and completed in 2009 at a cost of ₺4.2 million, it stands 42 metres tall — the tallest statue in Turkey — and bears Atatürk's motto "Peace at home, peace in the world" in relief at its base.
