Editor's Note
The building is of the classic 19th-century Turkish bath type. The bathing section is of stone, the changing rooms of wood. The upper covering of the wooden sections is reinforced with a pitched roof of alaturka tiles. From the changing area at the bath's entrance, one passes into a two-domed warm room (ılıklık). The central hot room is covered by a large dome. The entrance facade is two storeys. There is a window on each side of the door, one above the other. The octagonal-domed wooden section to the north has a symmetrical counterpart at the rear. Source: [1] (2010) Cultural Inventory: Ancient Settlements. (p. 189).
