Editor's Note
It is located within the boundaries of the village of Sigircili, in the Uzunkopru district of Edirne province. Alongside roughly hewn gravestones bearing no inscription or ornament, the site also contains plain or turban-topped gravestones with Ottoman Turkish inscriptions dated to the 18th century. In this cemetery, which is still in use today, some of the old gravestones have sunk beneath the soil. It was registered by decision no. 10695 of the Edirne Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 24 February 2025.
