Konaklar Central Mosque was built as a church in the 15th century during the period of the Komnenos Kingdom; it is a three-aisled basilical-plan structure made of cut stone. Although it bears no inscription, its architectural features and plan suggest that it was rebuilt in the 18th century in place of the old church. Following a restoration in 2016, the building began to be used as a mosque. Set on a rectangular plan running east to west, the structure has no narthex.
