Hafiz Ali Efendi Mill I is a water mill built in the 19th century. The structure was built in masonry using rubble stone and covered with a hipped roof clad in pantiles. In keeping with the plain, functional architectural approach of the rural production buildings of its era, the mill had a sturdy structure suited to long-term use thanks to its solid choice of materials. It featured a water wheel combining wood and metal, a wooden granary or silo section where grain was stored, and the millstone sections where grinding was carried out.
