Editor's Note
The Customs House was built in the 19th century in the area known as Moloz, in the Iskenderpasa neighborhood, and was rebuilt in the early 20th century. Designed as a two-story building in the style of Ottoman-era public buildings, it was constructed in masonry using cut stone. The rectangular-plan, two-story structure has a hipped roof, with wide door openings on the ground floor. In another photograph, the rectangular block of the building is seen to consist of three sections arranged horizontally.
