The Karamehmet Mansion is thought to have been built in the early 20th century. Located in the Cumhuriyet district, this traditional Trabzon house was built in harmony with the street fabric, without altering the street's natural curves, by means of angular slopes created within the building's own structure. Standing at the junction of two road networks, the building was planned to continue the line followed by both the inner street and Özgür Avenue, and it is described as one of the traditional houses inhabited by Trabzon's ordinary people.
