The Tuzlu Fountain, though it bears no inscription, is estimated from its plan and architectural features to have been built in the 19th century. The structure—without a water reservoir, arched, and with a single spout—is studied within the group of iwan-type fountains. Its round arch, in which black, gray, and red stone are used in alternation, is striking. It is understood that the fountain was moved to its current location, and its original site is difficult to determine.
