The Çulhazade Hacı Kadir Mansion was built in the late 19th century. Designed as a two-story residence over a ground level, this large dwelling sits on a near-square rectangular footprint and stands out with its front facade facing east. Among Trabzon's Neoclassical-style examples, the building reflects the characteristic features of the era's high-quality civil architecture in its plan and facade arrangement. The front facade has a projecting bay window (cumba); this element resembles the applications seen in the distinguished mansions around Ortahisar, Kunduracılar, and Meydan.
