Editor's Note
Hatuncuk Hatun Mosque (Osman Baba Lodge) was built shortly before 1523/1524 as the Hacı Baba zaviye (dervish lodge). This modest structure, which served as a dervish lodge in its first construction, was converted into a mosque in the Republican period after 1925. Over time it was considered together with the Emir Mehmet Tomb and, through additions made in different periods, underwent a multi-phase architectural development. The original part of the structure, built using masonry technique with cut stone, is the single-domed lodge section in the northwest.
