The building, constructed using masonry technique, employs both cut stone and rubble stone. It has a basilical plan running east to west. It has three naves, each ending in one of three apses. The central nave and apse are wider than those on the sides. It has no narthex. At the center of the building is a dome opening resting on four columns. This dome is supported on the sides by vaults. Neither the drum nor the dome itself has survived to the present day. The exterior roof of the building is a hipped roof sloping in two directions, with stone slabs as the roofing material. There are three rectangular windows on the south facade of the building.
