Editor's Note
The Tomb of Şeyh Taceddin Veli stands in the Taceddin Quarter of Kayseri, today in the garden of Etiler Primary School (the former Taceddin School). The tomb dates to the Ottoman period and was built in 1513. The square-plan building is covered by a dome. The entrance is on the west side, and there is a window on each of the east and north facades. The interior is plainly arranged, with no decoration or additional sections. Buried in the tomb is Şeyh Taceddin, regarded as the ancestor of the Taceddinoğulları family of Kayseri. His gravestone records that he died in Ramadan AH 721 / AD 1321.
