When Evliya Çelebi came to Kayseri in the mid-17th century, he counted the city's caravanserais and also mentioned the Kığlamazzâde Han, which had recently been built by Hacı Abdi Bey at that time. This han has now been demolished, and the new Kılnamaz Business Han, located to the north of the Great Mosque, was built on its site, though that building too was demolished in later years.
