Körükçü Hanı

Editor's Note

Körükçü Han, also known as Hacı Mansur Han, is one of Kayseri's historic caravanserais. Thanks to its position on the old trade routes, it was once an important stopping point for merchants and travelers. Described in the sources as a han with thirteen hearths, the building gradually fell into ruin and was consequently demolished by the municipality. During its reconstruction, materials not faithful to the original were used.
