The Oduncu Fountain was built in AH 990 / AD 1582 by Murâd, son of Oduncu. Designed as a single-arched, freestanding structure, it is 3.10 meters high, 3.23 meters wide, and 1.70 meters deep. The pointed arch covering the top of the niche rests on monolithic stone piers, while the edge moldings beginning at the springing point wrap entirely around the eaves section. Regular cut stone was used in the fountain's architecture; since the spout stone placed in the niche has over time been plastered with concrete, the spouts on it have been disabled.
