The Kayseri Eski Şehir (Old City) Walls are an ancient defensive structure situated on a slope, largely ruined and collapsed. The remains were built to the west of the rocks adjoining the slope and may have belonged to a watch or control tower, since no connection to any city wall has survived. Built of roughly hewn rubble stones, this structure is undecorated and bears no inscription. 2nd-3rd centuries...
