The Suvermez Caravanserai lies about 4 km northwest of the town of Süksün in the İncesu district of Kayseri, on the northern side of Suvermez (Kuba) Mountain. The way-station where the caravanserai stands is 27 km from the Avanos Sarı Han and 28 km from the centre of Kayseri. The building was a stop on the important trade route that ran between Konya and Kayseri in the Anatolian Seljuk period, a route that continued one used since Roman and Byzantine times. The caravanserai is today completely ruined and appears as a small mound covered with earth and rubble stones.
