Location: It is in the Yukarı Çamlıca neighbourhood, formerly called Viçe-i Ulyâ, in the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize. History: The only inscription on the mosque is set above the minbar door. It reads: "Patron of good works, the minbar of Süleyman bin Musa, year 1281/1865." Apart from this minbar inscription, two foundation records concerning the building have come to light. The first notes that in 1746 the local people needed a mosque and that a building was erected around that time. A foundation record of 1901 records money endowed for the mosque.
