Location: It stands on sloping ground in Şenköy, formerly known as Amukta or Amokta, in the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize. History: As the inscription on the south wall of the mosque's prayer hall reveals, it was built in 1317 AH (1899). Although some studies read the date as 1312, this is the way the number "3," commonly used in the region, was written. The inscription, painted in a single line on the wooden wall, reads: "Work of Anzeli, the year 1317, work of Anzi." Besides the inscription, there is an endowment record dated 1317 AH (1899).
