Location: It stands on a sloping hillside in the village of Zilkale (Koluna) in the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize. History: The sole inscription of the building, also known as the Koluna Mosque, is above the mihrab niche arch. It reads: Whenever Zechariah entered upon her in the prayer chamber, what God has willed, glory be to God, the year 1304 AH (1887). Apart from the mihrab inscription, an endowment record dated 1806 states that the building was erected by a man named Mehmed. A second endowment record is dated 1904.
