Location: It stands in the village of Nurluca, formerly known as Çanova/Çaniva/Çanava, in the Hemşin district of Rize. History: Although no inscription concerning the date of construction has been found on the building, it has been suggested that it was built by the villagers in 1898. Archival records indicate that the mosque was erected by a founder named Hasan bin Hüseyin and that an imam and preacher were appointed in 1790. No record of the building appears in the later registers.
