Location: It stands within the village of Yavuzlar (Zuğapa) in Çayeli, one of Rize's largest districts. History: According to information given by the villagers, the mosque was built by a seafarer and has three inscriptions, on the exterior facade and at the mihrab. The inscription at the east corner of the south wall bears the dates "Repair, November 1376 AH (1956), 5.9.1970." Of the inscriptions on the mihrab, the upper right corner reads "There is no god but God, date 1300 AH (1882)," while the upper left reads "Muhammad is the Messenger of God, repair date 1321 AH (1903)."
