Location: It stands in the village of Yenice, formerly known as Balohor, in the Çayeli district of Rize. History: The mosque has two different inscriptions, one to the south of the entrance and one at the mihrab. The five-line Ottoman Turkish inscription on the exterior facade could not be fully deciphered; only the portions "1221 AH (1806)... the Prophet (?), may God's blessings and peace be upon him... God, mosque, God..." could be read. The second inscription is carved piecemeal into the mihrab wall.
