Location: It stands in the village of Yanıkdağ, recorded as Fenaçi, in the Çayeli district of Rize. History: According to the Ottoman Turkish inscription on the lintel of the prayer hall entrance, the mosque was built in 1229 AH (1813). The inscription, not fully legible because the stone has eroded, also bears, besides the date, the name Amele Ömer (?). Apart from the inscription, an information plaque written in modern Turkish on marble gives the building's construction date as 1826 and its renovation date as 1950. An endowment record concerning the building has also come to light.
