Location: It stands in the Kesmetaş Quarter, one of the central quarters of the Çayeli district of Rize, recorded in older documents as Mamul. History: A four-line Ottoman Turkish inscription to the right of the mosque's entrance reveals that the building was repaired in 1314 AH (1897), while a Turkish inscription indicates it was restored in 1990.
