Editor's Note
The mosque located in the Kırama Quarter of Çamlık village, in the İkizdere district of Rize province, bears no inscription. However, considering the decoration and other features of the region's wooden mosques, it can be dated to the 19th century. The mosque was built with throat-jointed corners and the main structure in the log (çantı) technique, on a rectangular plan running north-south on the exterior. Moved from the Heliller Quarter to its present location, the building was later clad in stone. To its west there was once a medrese and an imam's house adjoining the mosque, neither of which survives today.
