Editor's Note
Location: It stands in the village (quarter) of Yarımada (Paravol) in the Güneysu district of Rize. History: No archival record concerning the mosque has been found, nor any inscription on its body walls. A Turkish information plaque written on marble above the entrance notes that it was built or renovated in 1905. When the views of local residents were gathered, the building was found to have a history of roughly 200 years.
