Location: It stands in Pazarköy, recorded by its old name Mişona, in the town center of Rize. History: According to the Ottoman inscription written on marble above the entrance door of the mosque's prayer hall, construction of the building began in 1317/1899-1900 and was completed in two years. The mosque, also mentioned in the sharia court registers, has a foundation (waqf) record as well. According to the record dated 1902, for the mosque rebuilt from the ruins of the old village mosque, Mandevoğlu Ahmed Efendi bin Hacı Hamid Efendi of the village endowed one thousand kuruş.
