Location: It stands in the village of Diktaş, formerly called İksenit, in the İkizdere district of Rize. History: According to the inscription on the mosque's east wall, the building was constructed in 'year 1235/1819.' The building's information plaque, however, gives the date as 1835. Besides the inscription, a foundation (waqf) record was also found. The record states that Musluoğlu Kâmil Efendi bin Arif of the village's Kancıali Neighborhood endowed one thousand kuruş in 1904 for the masjid in the neighborhood.
