Location: It stands in the Aşağı (Lower) Neighborhood of Ayvalık village, recorded by its old name Kapse-i Rize, in the İkizdere district of Rize. History: The mosque has three different inscriptions. The first, above the entrance door, is written in modern Turkish on a marble plaque. The second, to the west of the door, consists only of the date 'year 1320/1903.' The third is inscribed as a single line on the door panel.
