Location: It stands in the Aşağı Şimşirli Neighborhood (Canot, Tobira, Habak) in the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize. History: The mosque has two inscriptions, on its portico and on the prayer hall's entrance door. First inscription: 'Mashallah, year 1315/1898, maker Osman and Mustafa Ferhat.' Second inscription: 'The owner of pious works and good deeds; may God forgive him and his parents; maker Feyzi and İsmail, year 1194/1780.' When both inscriptions are examined, the date 1898 in the first indicates the construction of the present mosque.
