Location: It stands in Yalıköy, formerly called Liparit, in the İyidere district of Rize. History: The mosque has two inscriptions, one on its south wall and the other on the north side of the entrance section. The inscription on the south wall, set within a cartouche, bears the date 1286/1869. A four-line Ottoman inscription records that the building was commissioned by the villagers in 1308/1892. The inscription reads: 'The owner of pious works and good deeds; this is the work of all the people of this village; year 1308 H.'
