Editor's Note
The Taşkıran Quarter Mosque was built in 1897-1898 as a masonry structure combining stone and wood. The rectangular mosque consists of a prayer hall and a women's gallery and is covered by a hipped roof. Notable for its wooden minaret, rich woodwork, and stone mihrab, it is still used as a mosque today. The Taşkıran Village Mosque was built in 1898-1899 (AH 1315).
