The Ömerli Mosque in the Çambaşı Quarter was built in 1845 (AH 1261) as a masonry structure of stone and wood. Rectangular in plan and running north to south, it consists of a prayer hall and a women's gallery. It is covered externally by a hipped roof, and its wide eaves are clad in wood. The minaret, added later, stands on the north facade and has a single balcony. The prayer hall has a cut-stone mihrab, a plain wooden minbar, and hand-drawn decoration in the interior. The flat-ceilinged building has decorative carving on the central medallion of its wooden ceiling.
