Editor's Note
The mosque has two inscriptions giving its date of construction. One is to the left of the gate leading into the courtyard, and the other is on the mihrab. According to the inscriptions, the building was constructed in 1867 (AH 1283), and the names Yakup, Osman, and Mehmed can be read. Built on a masonry base 1 meter high on sloping, north-south-oriented land, the mosque consists of a portico, a prayer hall, and an imam's room, and was constructed using the wooden log (çantı) technique.
